When I don’t know what to write When my thoughts refuse to get in line When there are no creative thoughts in sight When all of these have happened I know it is a sign -   To pick up my pencil or perhaps a pen To find a clean sheet of paper in my book To let my thoughts fly as free as a wren And to write and write in my own little nook. --- Spinning here and whirling there, Running wild and flying high -   I don’t know how much more I can bare, Yet they will not slow no matter how I try. So I lift my took and rest my hand Not fully thinking I try to let the words flow Words fall on the page - I leave them as they land
